We ate at the bar on a busy Friday night after a different restaurant turned us down because we didn't have reservations. They were so friendly here and we really enjoyed the drinks and food. The schnitzel in mushroom cream sauce was delicious and the gluhwein was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Wonderful food and service!

They offer English and German menus. Lots of great options for food and plenty of gluten free items as well. We ordered the large size of cider, which is slightly larger than a half pint. The roasted lamb main, and the baked potato with chilli. Both meals were excellent. I will say the outer door was left open and every time guests came or left we got quite the draft of cold air, so if it’s a cold day ask to be seated farther from the door.

Bloody amazing!!! The pancakes with salmon and dille sauce are the best! Also had this amazing apfelstrudel. Service is fast and amazing. It's super cosy. Expect to enjoy your food!

Good taste, good prices really nice place if y want experience German food. Maybe try to book a table in advance or come a bit early to get a nice place.

The restaurant has bad price-quality ratio. My meal was definitely overpriced with hardly average quality. I have ordered veal sausages, but they were nothing like tasty full-of-real-meat sausages I tried in other local restaurants. They were tasteless "rubber-supermarket-like" sausages of rather poor quality, as both me and my companion had heartburn afterwards. And they costed 10 euro!The service was fine until the time when waiter implied to leave him tips at the end of the evening.

We had a really good time here. We were just passing by and caught by the kindness of one of the waitresses. It was amazing how she interacted with her customers. So we decided to sit down and eat something. We weren’t disappointed at all. Our recommendation: if you’re hungry and want to spend a good time, this is definitely a place to go to.

Ambiance was really good for this place. Food was just ok. I tried Frankfurt authentic dish Green sauce with boiled eggs and potatoes and vegetables filled pasta. Also good for drinks. Friendly staff.

Full on a Monday evening. I ate at the bar. Quite comfortable. Portions enormous: my "small" goose liver salad would have done as a main course. I had room for a delicious deer goulash, but will have to visit again to try the puddings! Staff were friendly and helpful.

We first came to this place after a guided tour in a very cold and snowy winter Frankfurt. We keep coming back for the incredible hearty food, the nice drinks, attentive and friendly service team. The prices are reasonable for inner city Frankfurt. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place to locals and visitors alike.

Very unpleasant time spending. Stuff makes bad jokes that close to rudeness and act very arrogance. On questions about what most fresh beer to choose - we got a suggestion to order ice cream or another desserts. On questions about snaks, they said that snaks is right out the corner, "just beer". Worst experience ever. Not recommended.

The portions were massive. The pork knuckles were good, but a bit bland for my liking. The skin on it also wasn't very crispy, but overall it was a good dish and a good experience.

The food was good and the atmosphere was great. Sorry no pictures this visit, but guranteed to get some the next time we visit. Our waitress was very attentive which made the experience so much better.

The Schnitzel I had was quite average, nice service!

Just ordered drinks and a bowl of chili, but really enjoyed it a lot. Other customers sound us were ordering the schnitzels so I will have to truth to try that dish. Great place to just hang out and chat with friends.

This place puts the 'seele' in steal! Schnitzel should 10 euro maximum. They are greedy for tourists money but fair play to them for keeping the kitchen open. The strudel wasn't ment to be. God bless!

Favorite German restaurant 💙 Nice selection of typical German dishes and beer.

Always packed, often with tourists, this place offers regional and national dishes which are good, but not overwhelming. It's nice inside but can get quite noisy. Staff is good and friendly (unless it's really busy). Still a good choice if you want to enjoy some Schnitzel, fries and salad or such.

I have probably eaten the biggest schnitzel in the world here (with mushroom sauce). Size really impressive: enough for two hungry people! Very tasty and and other options ( ribs, hamburgers) were very good,too. Really nice location particularly for a sunny day with outdoor tables
